Description

An urgent debate on strategies for effectively combating

gun and knife crime

Tuesday 24th April 2018 | St Marks Church | 7pm-8.30pm | Entry - Free

You may have heard the tragic news of the killing of two young people and the serious injury of a third over the Easter period. At the point of writing there have been more than 50 gun/knife related killings in our Capital.

We are calling for you to join us to obtain 100,000 signatures on a petition to....

"urge the Government to debate the continued increase of gun and knife crimes and its effect on communities, and for all government agencies to make a collaborative effort in combating knife and gun crime on our streets."

If you have not signed the petition already please do click on the link below and do share it among your networks to also sign and continue sharing it as far and wide as possible:

https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/216928

We are calling all church leaders to join us on Tuesday 24 April 2018 at St Marks Church to discuss further action and issues to be included in the debate.

Please register for this event today and together lets make a stand against this rise in violent crime.

“Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not” .Galatians 6:9

We look forward to seeing you there,
